We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Mechanical Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all activities are effectively supervised and executed safely.<\/li>\n<li>To assess current conditions of equipment and use expert knowledge to define and advise on necessary repair and upgrade requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Review work method statements for various execution to ensure correctness and completion as planned.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all documentation are updated and as-built drawings prepared for every major activities.<\/li>\n<li>Constantly engaging OEM\u2019s to follow-up on clarifications required to close out actions promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Review Design, quantify, estimate and or verify work scopes for all maintenance works in liaison with Discipline Engineering Assurance team as well as process invoices and contractor payment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.<\/li>\n<li>Manage HSE on work sites to ensure compliance with company\/government policies and regulations. Monitor safety and ensure HSSE aspects are addressed, and that preventive requirements and Learning from Incidents (LFI) are communicated and implemented thus enhancing the effectiveness of the HSSE MS.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze HVAC and Pump systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop in liaison with the implementation team and implement mechanical discipline rejuvenation plans and communicate same, with stakeholders to ensure delivery of approved premise.<\/li>\n<li>Involved in project development and execution, develop, and specify list of all materials required for delivery of mechanical rejuvenation activities to ensure no lapse or delays due to material unavailability.<\/li>\n<li>Extract mechanical material specification from the CMMS for procurement purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously engaging the SME on technical review of spares to ensure accuracy of material specification for procurement purposes and address obsolescence.<\/li>\n<li>Review procurement queries from the procurement specialist\/OEM\u2019s and provide requisite information according to the manufacturer\u2019s manual and site experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A University Degree in Mechanical\/Industrial\/Production Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 &#8211; 7 years postgraduate experience with a minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in required function such as HVAC and Pumps.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Professional certifications are an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@doverengineering.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@doverengineering.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<br \/>\nAnd<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=Q3tsMP0RxkG9RqxMidmbN_7v3bQBtUFIsCV2v0nDS8NUQ1JHRkxCUlQ2S0VDRE5LRTM5NkJJRzE0TC4u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>14th March, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dover Engineering, a subsidiary of the Dover Group, is a leading engineering company with experience in delivering swift, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to clients across various industries.
