We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Financial Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nTreasury:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain stewardship for financial assets and debt, including being in charge of cash management, debt management and investment management functions of the organization and its affiliated entities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement daily, monthly and quarterly cash forecastingmodels.<\/li>\n<li>Present revised financial forecasts based on actual spend and the organisation&#8217;s financial position.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for financial investments and capital growth<\/li>\n<li>Advise on the organisation&#8217;s reserves and investment policy<\/li>\n<li>Research and recommend financing alternatives, analyzing options and providing recommendations to the Management.<\/li>\n<li>Structuring debt arrangements with lenders, Managing corporate investments and Monitoring cash flow.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tax:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with Tax Authorities, Auditors, and other Regulatory bodies as regards the preparation and filing of the Audited Financials and other Tax related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring prompt remittance and various statutory deductions i.e. VAT, PAYE, CIT, Pension Fund, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Accounting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing Financial Statements in line with the IFRS standards.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the Asset and Liability Management.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and Maintaining balance sheet schedules, ledgers, profit and loss statements, monthly and yearly financial statements, and other reports<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out monthly bank account closing and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out bank reconciliation analysis and account audit<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Bank on Transaction rates and Foreign Translation rates.<\/li>\n<li>Payroll administration and preparation of monthly reports for analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and consolidating the departmental and organization\u2019s budget.<\/li>\n<li>Periodic audit of departmental processes.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring compliance in line with accepted accounting principles and company procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Developing, maintaining, and implementing financial internal controls, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Class grade, minimum 2:1 in BSc in Accounting or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>5 -7 years of relevant experience.
