We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of Corporate Affairs \/ Legal Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Opebi \/ Ikeja &#8211; Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of Corporate Affairs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute comprehensive corporate affairs strategies aligned with the organization&#8217;s goals and values.<\/li>\n<li>Manage corporate communications activities, including media relations, press releases, speeches, and other external communications.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Lead public relations efforts to promote the organization&#8217;s brand, products, and services through various channels, including traditional media, digital platforms, and events.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyze public opinion, industry trends, and regulatory developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Manage budgets, resources, and vendors associated with corporate affairs programs and initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to corporate affairs and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor a team of corporate affairs professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal departments, including marketing, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communications efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including philanthropic activities, community engagement programs, and sustainability efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and public events to enhance visibility and promote thought leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board of directors on corporate affairs activities, achievements, and challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Legal Manager:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement, and manage legal policies, procedures, and documents.<\/li>\n<li>Research and analyze legal issues and advise management on the legal implications of their decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the company in legal proceedings and hearings.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and other legal advisors.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee regulatory and compliance matters.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal advice and guidance to management on all legal issues.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage the legal department budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s Degree in law<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of relevant experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of legal principles and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Basic Accounting skills for Reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think and work independently as well as proffer immediate solutions to issues arising.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be highly confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies to complex situations<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and event planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Report writing and presentation skills with the use of MS PowerPoint is very essential<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding research and analytical abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nVery Competitive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/GQrUo74Vbvjwekzg6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>15th April, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greater Washington Capital Limited &#8211;
