Over the years, all Chinese and foreign employees of Lifemate Group have worked to develop Lifemate Group into an International brand with centers of operation, procurement, production and control in China (Hong Kong, Foshan and Dalian) as well as in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon, Madagascar and Tanzania. We also have fully-owned subsidiaries in 6 other countries within Africa and dozens of Lifemate Group brand stores, with more than 3000 Chinese and foreign staffs of Lifemate Group across the world. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Design Architect<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Architects furnishing plan, develop and implement furnishing designs.<\/li>\n<li>compiles feasibility reports and determine environmental impact<\/li>\n<li>create project proposals, estimate costs, determine timelines and oversee working processes.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each furniture design, considering cost, quality, and sustainability factors.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop new furniture designs that align with the company&#8217;s brand identity and market trends.<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts and specifications to the manufacturing team.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research on emerging design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporate them into new furniture designs.<\/li>\n<li>Develop prototypes and mock-ups to test and validate design concepts, ensuring their feasibility and functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the production team to ensure the smooth transition from design to manufacturing, providing guidance and technical support throughout the production process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations, considering factors such as ergonomics, structural integrity, and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design review meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback to improve designs and streamline the production process.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that design deliverables are completed within established deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual materials, such as brochures, catalogues, and digital assets, to promote new furniture collections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s Degree in Architecture<\/li>\n<li>1 &#8211; 5 years\u2019 work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed NYSC<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in furniture design, preferably within the manufacturing industry is added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Notes: Any porfolio should be sent with the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Vray, Corona, and other related architecture software\/ tools for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models.<\/li>\n<li>Strong aesthetic sensibility and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to balance form and function in design.<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in Designing, Researching, and creating Presentation decks.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes commonly used in furniture production.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with sustainability principles and a commitment to integrating sustainable practices into design processes.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN150,000 &#8211; N200,000 \/ month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Recruitment.nig234@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Recruitment.nig234@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th April, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lifemate Group was founded in 2002, it is headquartered in Nigeria, Africa\u2019s largest economy and most populous nation.
