We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Officer with expertise in supply chain management to join our team.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import\/export operations, internal procurement validation, vendor management, inventory management, tender initiation and management, global and local sourcing, asset tagging and monitoring, and procurement scheduling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiation.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.<\/li>\n<li>Validate internal procurement requests and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers\/vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve favourable terms.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee inventory management, optimizing stock levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate and manage tender processes, evaluating bids and selecting suppliers\/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Source goods and services globally and locally, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring timely delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Implement asset tagging and monitoring systems to track company assets and prevent loss or theft.<\/li>\n<li>Manage bank account operations related to procurement activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain procurement schedules to support operational needs and ensure timely delivery of goods\/services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on supply chain management.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in import\/export operations, vendor management, inventory management, and tender management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of global and local sourcing practices and market trends.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in procurement software and systems, with experience in asset tagging and monitoring preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary: very competitive<\/li>\n<li>HMO coverage<\/li>\n<li>13th Month<\/li>\n<li>Performance Bonus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:edaufa@folti.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">edaufa@folti.io<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th April, 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Folt\u00ef Technologies Limited is an Africa-focused developer of zero-emission projects under its technology-driven ecosystem, with a pipeline of deals relating to electromobility, energy efficiency, and commercial charge point operations for&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2844],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Folti Technologies Limited Current Job Opportunity - Apply Now!
