The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent numerical skills, and a proven track record in financial management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis, support decision-making, and drive business growth initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts to provide insights into the company&#8217;s financial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho ) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience 8 years in accounting or finance roles, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nN500,000 gross plus other benefits.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@advantagehealthafrica.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@advantagehealthafrica.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the job title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th April, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advantage Health Africa is a health care company that provides access to Quality and affordable medication using technology.
