Family Health International<\/strong> (FHI) is dedicated to improving lives, knowledge, and understanding worldwide through a highly diversified program of research, education, and services. FHI is recruiting for a Project Director.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Project Director will be responsible for the strategic direction and technical leadership to produce program results, including overall management of the operational, financial and administrative aspects of the project.<\/p>\n The successful candidate will work with key partners to promote awareness and provide support for rapid scale-up of proven malaria control efforts.<\/p>\n Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n Demonstrated leadership in the malaria field, to include development and implementation of malaria prevention and treatment programs BS\/BA in public health, epidemiology, health administration, or related field and 13 \u2013 15 years relevant experience MS\/MA in public health, epidemiology, health administration, or related field and 11 \u2013 13 years relevant experience PhD\/MD and 9 \u2013 11 years relevant experience. \nTechnical and management skills
\nExperience in developing a project vision, aligning key stakeholders around the vision
\nDemonstrated ability to develop and foster effective working relationships with USAID, other donors, ministry officials, state and local governments, and donor-funded implementers
\nKnowledge in overall supervision of training and capacity building programs
\nAbility to lead and motivate multidisciplinary, multicultural teams
\nAnalytical, writing, communication, and presentation skills
\nEducational Requirements:<\/p>\n

\nExperience with international development programs, including 5 \u2013 7 years supervisory experience
\nAt least ten years experience working in public health in developing countries in Africa, experience in Nigeria preferred
