On May 16, 2001, MTN became the first GSM network to make a call following the globally lauded Nigerian GSM auction conducted by the Nigerian Communications Commission earlier in the year.<\/p>\n<p>MTN is recruiting a <strong>HR Advisor <\/strong>to be based in Lagos Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist to ensure implementation of Attraction      and Recruitment activities within assigned Division<\/li>\n<li>Ensure new staff are properly boarded and      inducted into the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the compliance with\u00a0employee      Performance Management\u00a0cycle<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate confirmation process for new staff      on probation<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate Career Management implementation      within the assigned Division<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Staff engagement Meetings for      assigned Divisions e.g. Village Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Industrial Relations      Advisor\u00a0to\u00a0coordinate Regional Employee Council Meeting\u00a0&#8211;      Indentify pertinent employee and work place issues and\u00a0report      outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Assist to drive Group Culture Audit and other      Surveys participation within assigned Divisions<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Line Managers of assigned Division      and OD to develop and implement organizational structure and design as and      when required e.g. Job Profiles etc<\/li>\n<li>Assist to implement Departmental\/Divisional      Recognition programmes as well as driving participation in the Group      Recognition programme \u2013 Yello Star<\/li>\n<li>Assist to ensure that all\u00a0Conflicts      within assigned Divisions are resolved within stipulated time      -Coordination of \u00a0staff Disciplinary matters and grievances<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate\u00a0assigned Exit Activities for      exiting staff<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for improvement in      human resources services<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with HR Centres of Excellence to      develop solutions to identified client needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 4 years working experience with at      least 2 years in General HR roles spanning:<\/li>\n<li>Industrial Relations<\/li>\n<li>Employee Relations<\/li>\n<li>HR Administration<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employee engagement<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience in Telecommunication industry would      be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First degree in Behavioural Sciences or a related discipline<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Click here, select vacancy and Apply online<\/p>\n<p><strong>Offer ends on 24\/11\/2009<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MTN Nigeria is part of the MTN Group, Africa\u2019s leading cellular telecommunications company.
