{"id":2149,"date":"2009-11-23T15:25:50","date_gmt":"2009-11-23T14:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=2149"},"modified":"2010-10-18T16:11:47","modified_gmt":"2010-10-18T15:11:47","slug":"mtn-vendor-management-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/mtn-vendor-management-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"MTN Jobs in Nigeria: Vendor Management Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-119\" title=\"mtn\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/mtn.jpg\" alt=\"mtn\" width=\"82\" height=\"82\" \/>MTN<\/strong>\u2019s overriding mission is to be a catalyst for Nigeria\u2019s economic growth and development, helping to unleash Nigeria\u2019s strong developmental potential not only through the provision of world class communications but also through innovative and sustainable corporate social responsibility initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>MTN Nigeria is recruiting a <strong>Vendor Management Officer <\/strong>to be based in Lagos Nigeria to work directly under\u00a0Manager, Attraction &amp; Recruitment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set      and determine vendor registration requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor      vendor performance against set criteria<\/li>\n<li>Manage      and monitor third party stall contracts<\/li>\n<li>Ensure      that the third party employees seconded to MTNN comply with\u00a0policies,      processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Identify      trends pertaining to contract staffing arrangements and proactively      identifying areas for improvements or adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Monitor      all statistics in terms of contract staff\/ third party agencies      performance<\/li>\n<li>Provide      support and advise third party vendors on people issues e.g. staff      retention, training, career management, etc<\/li>\n<li>Assist      in the effective implementation of policies and procedures relating to      third party staff<\/li>\n<li>Support      development of\u00a0strategic alliances with third party agencies, labor      brokers, headhunters and recruitment agencies<\/li>\n<li>Support      recruitment\/selection in line with MTNN defined practices\/requirements.
