As a result of business expansion and capacity building, unique career opportunities exist in the organization for highly competent and self-motivated professionals; the company is looking to fill the vacant position<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Engineering Manager<\/p>\n<p>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Report To: General Manager<\/strong><br \/>\nTo manage the engineering functions of the factory and the facilities available in such a manner that efficiency and availability targets are met, maintenance expenditure is contained within budget and long term facilities plans are aligned with the business strategy.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDuties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that plant and equipment maintenance systems are in place.<\/li>\n<li>Safety standards are adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Safeguard well controlled utility bills.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor capital projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manage expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all maintenance workers are well trained and properly motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Specify system requirement or direct modification of parts to ensure conformance optimum performance of machinery\/aid smooth production run.<\/li>\n<li>Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain machinery\/equipment, systems and processes to meet production requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc or HND in Mechanical or electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>5 years of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Tally ERP.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the manufacturing industry (Food Manufacturing industry is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic Financial skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communication.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with diverse teams<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n7th May, 2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested qualified candidates should send their updated CVs to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@hytng.com\"><strong>careers@hytng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the position you are applying for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HYT Consulting &#8211; Our client is a multinational FMCG and a fast growing producers\/manufacturer of various types of goods.
