The award-winning PR Fundamentals Internship Programme offers the opportunity to young graduates to spend 12 months working and learning at C&F Porter Novelli, one of Nigeria\u2019s leading Public Relations\u2019 agencies, which has been in the business of reputation building and management consultancy for more than thirteen years.<\/p>\n

As part of that commitment we are actively reinvesting in the industry\u2019s most profitable assets: people.<\/p>\n

The PR Fundamentals Internship Programme is a C&F Porter Novelli initiative to foster talent in young Nigerians and drive the Nigerian Public Relations industry into a new generation. In doing so, the Programme strives to be an industry guarantor of excellence in training entry-level employees.<\/p>\n

About the Programme<\/strong>
\nThe PR Fundamentals Internship Programme aims to foster a pool of talented and innovative individuals who can be identified and engaged by the Public Relations industry.
\nThroughout the 12-month programme Interns shall participate in a mixed environment of classroom and apprenticeship learning. This approach ensures that interns are optimally prepared as PR professionals both theoretically and practically.<\/p>\n

Classroom Learning<\/strong>
\nClasses shall be held every day for the first week of the Program and regularly thereafter in addition to regular workdays. Classes of feature shall include lectures by staff experts and discussions emphasizing the fundamental skills of public relations.<\/p>\n

Apprenticeship Learning<\/strong>
\nInterns will spend most period of their internship as integral member of Account Teams gain exposure to every facet of the Public Relations business. Through this experience Interns shall be educated on the fundamental skills of public relations: e.g. writing, media monitoring, media relations, electronic media, special event planning, new business presentation and more.<\/p>\n

Those who display aptitude and interest for thought leadership may be posted to the Research and Planning Department which focuses on developing PR insights, innovation and quality assurance for C&F Porter Novelli clients and the agency as a whole.<\/p>\n

Who is Eligible<\/strong>
\nThe PR Fundamentals Internship Program seeks recent graduates with little or no prior experience in the field. Applicants must have graduated from the university before applying. Candidates also must have completed the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Programme.<\/p>\n

Programme Timeline<\/strong>
\nThe PR Fundamentals Internship Programme runs for a period of 12-month commencing in February. The classroom and apprenticeship segments shall be hosted at C&F Porter Novelli\u2019s Lagos office in Lekki Phase 1.<\/p>\n

Remuneration<\/strong>
\nInterns shall be paid a stipend during their internship.<\/p>\n
