Licensed Aircraft MTCE Engineer &#8211; Airframe &amp; Engines<\/p>\n<p>2. Licensed Aircraft MTCE Engineer &#8211; Electrical &amp; Avionics<\/p>\n<p>Job Purpose<br \/>\n<\/strong>duties and responsibilities depends on the company and the category of license and endorsements held by the engineer; however in general<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform ;preflight inspection and post flight inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily, scheduled and non routine inspections<\/li>\n<li>Authorized to release aircraft for service<\/li>\n<li>Remove and install line replaceable units (lrus)<\/li>\n<li>Test the operation of aircraft systems to locate source of malfunctions and trouble-shoot problems<\/li>\n<li>Inspect parts for wear or other defects<\/li>\n<li>Defect rectification<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing of oil and cleaning of filters<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and record routine and special inspections as required by regulations<\/li>\n<li>Certify that maintenance practices meet standards<\/li>\n<li>Supervise aircraft maintenance workers<\/li>\n<li>Make entries into the \u00a0technical log<\/li>\n<li>Perform systems &amp; operational checks in accordance with aircraft maintenance manual.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to use tools, equipment and machinery to perform tasks requiring precision, analyzing information and troubleshooting problems and having organized methods for work.<\/li>\n<li>High level of safety consciousness and awareness<\/li>\n<li>Ability to select, interpret and follow instructions provided in written or maintenance manual and to interpret regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ncaa regulations and the company&#8217;s procedure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate line maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typerated aircraft maintenance engineer licence on the following helicopters: aw 139; aw 109; ec 135; as 365.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years cognate experience on the type rated aircraft listed above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n11th June, 2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their applications an detailed CV&#8217;s to :\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@acn.aero\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>careers@acn.aero<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www1.flyaero.com\/careers\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to view job details<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aero Contractors Airline is a well respected aviation service provider in the rotary wing (helicopter) offshore oil and gas sector plus the fixed wing scheduled and charter passenger sector.
