It will have the mandate to lift up customer\u2019s confidence and dependability in Ericsson\u2019s technical delivery organization, by creating an outstanding business value.<\/p>\n<p>RSSA Operations has a prime focus on improving the following:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Network performance<\/li>\n<li>Cost reduction<\/li>\n<li>Performance and Quality enhancement<\/li>\n<li>Incident Prevention<\/li>\n<li>Root Cause Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Hot and Critical issue handling<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring RSSA engineers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Main Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Project implementation and Project support during implementation.<\/li>\n<li>End of Support product CSR handling<\/li>\n<li>Handle Hot and critical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Perform RCA of Emergencies that occur in RSSA customers.<\/li>\n<li>Network Audits.<\/li>\n<li>Network design and optimisation<\/li>\n<li>Reduce Long Duration Emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Work as a good team member in a group of highly competent and skilled engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Team player.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive approach.<\/li>\n<li>Assumes work responsibility by being flexible.<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage high work load periods.<\/li>\n<li>Able to write technical procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Suggest improvements in ways of working and ways of cooperation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Service Engineers perform work in the following Domains::<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>RAN (Radio Access Networks)<\/li>\n<li>MSS (Mobile Switching Systems)<\/li>\n<li>TMS (Telecom Management System)<\/li>\n<li>IN (Intelligent Networks and Charging System)<\/li>\n<li>VAS (Value Added Services)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>General Skills:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Service Engineers would be required to interact with other Ericsson organizations to understand and clarify customer issues and work with Design organization for advanced troubleshooting and trouble reports.<\/li>\n<li>Service Engineers work on Customer Support Tools like SMS, Metis, MHWeb.<\/li>\n<li>Service Engineers possesses excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated and good team player.<\/li>\n<li>Must have consultative skills, share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Motivated to mentor and coach team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under strong pressure related to scale of business impact.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop and give effective presentations within own unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Telecom protocols understanding<\/li>\n<li>Telecom infrastructure knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Unix knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Programming language skills (Perl, C+)<\/li>\n<li>Very Strong IP concepts<\/li>\n<li>Strong Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Language Skills:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to communicate in English (written &amp; verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in French is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors of Electrical\/Telecom engineering<\/li>\n<li>Bachelors or master in Computer Science\/ computer engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Some experience working in the Telecommunications industry preferable<\/li>\n<li>Telecomunications related Theses in final year studies an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong><\/strong><strong><br \/>\nApplication Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n1st July, 2013<strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/tas-ericsson.taleo.net\/careersection\/2\/jobdetail.ftl?lang=en&amp;job=00090932\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ericsson is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and services to mobile and fixed network operators.
