With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments lifecycle, MasterCard Advisors addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances MasterCard&#8217;s strategic and tactical performance and establishes MasterCard&#8217;s global thought-leadership pre-eminence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Description and Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and execute specific pieces of project, direct Associate Analyst \/ Consultant activities, interact with mid- to senior- level payments managers. Support business development either follow-on or new sales.<\/li>\n<li>Rigorously and logically identify issues covering entire client problem with oversight<\/li>\n<li>Generate key hypotheses and independently structure work at a stream level<\/li>\n<li>Perform sophisticated, hypotheses-driven analysis with broad oversight<\/li>\n<li>Thoroughly check own work<\/li>\n<li>Draw well-integrated conclusions and insights<\/li>\n<li>Construct storylines at the work stream level<\/li>\n<li>Engage audience with verbal communications and presentations<\/li>\n<li>Deliver presentations<\/li>\n<li>Direct Analysts<\/li>\n<li>Identify engagement risks in stream<\/li>\n<li>Develop effective working relationships with mid-level client management<\/li>\n<li>Assess client agenda, internal culture and change readiness with guidance<\/li>\n<li>Builds peer relationships with key team members to identify opportunities to broaden relationship<\/li>\n<li>Engage in client communications with client peer group within the framework of the overall communications strategy<\/li>\n<li>Clearly define client and MasterCard Advisors roles and individual responsibilities for deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Proactively seek opportunities to support proposal preparation<\/li>\n<li>Identify client challenges and formulate ideas on opportunities to leverage MasterCard Advisors capabilities, surfacing these to senior Advisors staff with broad oversight<\/li>\n<li>Develop Intellectual Capital from client work with senior oversight<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of Intellectual Capital in Special Interest Groups<\/li>\n<li>Actively contributes to Special Interest Groups by participating in creating points of view, articles, methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Proactively seeks opportunities to lead small projects<\/li>\n<li>Actively contribute to Knowledge Center databases; actively gather and encourage contribution in areas of interest<\/li>\n<li>Implement, modify and apply Intellectual Capital, methodologies and tools from other projects<\/li>\n<li>Structure client work to facilitate capturing as Intellectual Capital with senior oversight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Qualifications and Experience<br \/>\nEducation Needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree required<\/li>\n<li>MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses\/Certifications Needed:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot applicable<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nExperience and Skills Needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in a management consulting firm and\/or solid experience in relevant industry if graduate degree held<\/li>\n<li>If no graduate degree, good experience in a management consulting firm and\/or expert knowledge in relevant industry<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on a team or independently<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Languages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local language required<\/li>\n<li>English required<\/li>\n<li>Additional languages desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n5th August, 2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sjobs.brassring.com\/TGWebHost\/home.aspx?partnerid=25232&amp;siteid=5330\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><\/strong>When the page opens, click on\u00a0<strong>Search openings<\/strong>, at the Location dropdown<strong>, select Nigeria &#8211; Lagos,\u00a0<\/strong>then click\u00a0<strong>Associate Managing Consultant.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MasterCard\u00a0is a global payments and technology company.
