Job Title 1:\u00a0OPERATIONS MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities<\/strong>
\n\u00b7Managing the operations department of 10+ Staff<\/p>\n

\u00b7Managing the finances required for completion of projects valued between N0.5m to N5m.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Managing and driving the performance of staff to meet Client\u2019s and company\u2019s targets.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Represent the company at industry related meetings, conferences, tradeshows and events.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Setting and defending company and client\u2019s position with industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Ensure company\u2019s compliance with Government Regulations.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Ensure compliance with other industry stakeholders \u2013 Shipping Companies and Government Agencies<\/p>\n

\u00b7Providing regular management reports.<\/p>\n

Job Skills Requirement<\/strong>
\n\u00b7Thorough knowledge of Import and Exports procedures \u2013 Eg Must have knowledge of the Classifications under the current Customs and Excise HS Code and Explanatory notes.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Knowledge and experience of all Lagos Ports and their peculiarities.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Good initiative and strong leadership skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7Good Communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7Good networking skills and knowledge of key industry personnel \u2013 eg.Customs, Shipping Companies etc.<\/p>\n

\u00b7Must have proven repertoire in setting and meeting strict KPIs.<\/p>\n

Educational Qualifications<\/strong>
\n\u00b7Must possess a good first degree<\/p>\n

\u00b7Minimum of 5 years\u2019 working experience in logistics (especially in importation, clearing and forwarding and transportation)<\/p>\n

\u00b7Applicant should be 28 years or older<\/p>\n

\u00b7Applicant must have concluded NYSC<\/p>\n
