{"id":23479,"date":"2014-02-07T06:35:53","date_gmt":"2014-02-07T05:35:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=23479"},"modified":"2014-02-07T08:43:50","modified_gmt":"2014-02-07T07:43:50","slug":"graduate-fire-officers-needed-nigerian-ports-authority","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/graduate-fire-officers-needed-nigerian-ports-authority.html","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Fire Officers Needed at Nigerian Ports Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The\u00a0Nigerian Ports Authority<\/strong>\u00a0is a government owned agency charged with the responsibility of Port Administration in the underlisted locations: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri, Calabar.<br \/>\nThe Nigerian Ports Authority wishes to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the positions of: Fire Officer II (Salary Scale SSS4) in order to ensure safety of our operations.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Position: Fire Officer II (Salary Scale SSS4)<\/p>\n<p>Locations:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri, Calabar.<br \/>\n<strong>Cadre:<\/strong>\u00a0Officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervision and manning of designed Fire Post within the port facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Report incident (if any) in written form to superior officer<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety and efficient running of fire engines and hydrants<\/li>\n<li>Take command and control in case of emergency<\/li>\n<li>Ability of driving articulated Fire Engine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Social Sciences and Humanities or IFE Level 4 Certificate in Fire Science and Fire Safety<\/li>\n<li>Age range: 22-35 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n10th February, 2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nQualified and interested candidates should send their applications with comprehensive CV stating email, contact address (not P.O.
