Twenty-seven months after incorporation, the then head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, commissioned the assembly plant on March 14, 1975, and though full operations had commenced on March 2, 1975.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative to establish Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited was taken by the then Federal Military Government under the leadership of General Yakubu Gowon. The idea was concretised on October 6, 1969 when the Government invited 16 reputable vehicle-manufacturing companies in the world to establish a vehicle assembly plant in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve years before the initiative was taken, Peugeot cars made their first entry into Nigeria when individuals imported about 100 units of the Peugeot 403 model into the country. These cars soon became popular due to their legendary reliability and suitability to Nigerian road conditions. The demand for Peugeot cars in Nigeria rose sharply again in the 1960&#8217;s with the further introduction of the Peugeot 404 model. With the high demand of Peugeot products which was a mark of acceptability, it was therefore not surprising when in May 7, 1971, Automobile Peugeot of France&#8217;s proposal was selected out of those tendered by 16 various vehicle manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot Automobile Nigeria is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Customer Relations Officer<\/p>\n<p>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Kaduna<br \/>\nReporting to: Customer Relations Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective management of the interface between suppliers, the network, customers and the commercial organization<\/li>\n<li>Management of help desk<\/li>\n<li>Development and implementation of annual network and customer relationship plan to enhance market performance<\/li>\n<li>Track and report new product trends<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of sales and service performance of the network and evaluation of feedbacks for support actions<\/li>\n<li>Update of market information database<\/li>\n<li>Provide customer service support for the company and determine customer satisfaction index<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Customer Satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or its equivalent preferably in the social sciences<\/li>\n<li>Experience in marketing and information management<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years&#8217; experience in related activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of organizational strategies, tools and techniques for understanding the needs of customers<\/li>\n<li>High level of product and customer knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Cross selling competency.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.<\/li>\n<li>Must not be more than 35 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n7th February, 2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send in their application and detailed CV and copies of their certificates to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@peugeotnigeria.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>recruitment@peugeotnigeria.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited, PAN was incorporated in December 15, 1972 as Limited Liability Company with an authorised share capital of Three Million Naira.
