The Company strives to be the leading micro, small and medium enterprise financier, the one that everyone wants to work for, do business with or refer to as a result of our best-in-sector performance.<\/p>\n<p>RegCharles Finance and Capital Limited is recruiting to fill the position of:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Position: Investment Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location\u00a0&#8211; Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nUsing the objectives of the organization as a guide, the investment officer ensures that a critical analysis of prospective investees or businesses is done before an actual investment is made by RegCharles into these businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospective Deal sourcing<\/li>\n<li>Structuring of prospective MSME deals for funding or alternative investment<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out due diligence on prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of business plans for prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Building of financial models for prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of information memorandum and fund raising proposals for prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Running of valuations on prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing of long term funds for investment in prospective MSMEs<\/li>\n<li>Consult with clients on investment strategies, products and services that are suitable for their needs<\/li>\n<li>Respond to client questions and requests<\/li>\n<li>Track and translate investment performance and make recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Establish a network of referrals<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions; ;<\/li>\n<li>Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of technology, business, finance, government and economic theory;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare plans of action for investment based on financial analyses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree holder in any discipline preferably in the social sciences (minimum of second class lower).<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in private equity, venture capital or investment banking space.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Must have good numerical abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in deal sourcing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n28th of February, 2014.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMethod of Application<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are qualified, please send your CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accountant@rcms.ng\"><strong>accountant@rcms.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the Job Title on or before the 28th of February, 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RegCharles Finance and Capital Limited\u00a0is a Social and Impact Investment company as well as commercial investment company that combines a mixture of debt, equity, quasi-equity, micro-credit\/lending and micro-equity models in&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":20656,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[28,32],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
