Services Supervisor<\/p>\n<p>Location:<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000033;\">\u00a0Kaduna<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nResponsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>Managing a team of field officers<\/li>\n<li>Assist in generating planting plans and budget inputs.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement systems to efficiently manage labour and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Propose creative solutions to farming problems.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with other farm staff to produce the highest quality products.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and manage all preparations.<\/li>\n<li>Follow and document planting plan.<\/li>\n<li>Generate accurate crop survey and crop forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Produce spray forecast according to the crop survey<\/li>\n<li>Help supervise crop harvesting.<\/li>\n<li>Help in quality control.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all safety requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Design spray programs and spray crops with pesticides.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain farm data for analysis<\/li>\n<li>Train and supervise the assistant growers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains proper records for spraying and fertilizing<\/li>\n<li>Calibrates and documents planting and spray equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #000033;\">Qualifications, Requirements and Skills<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000033;\">;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>The ideal candidate should have a B.Sc or M.Sc in Agronomy, Plant Science or Horticulture.<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years commercial farm management experience is desirable but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical knowledge and agricultural tools expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Operations experience and ability to &#8220;roll up sleeves&#8221; with can-do attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prepare daily written reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage assets &#8211; equipment, labour.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to budget, program, manage, schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Results oriented manager.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan ahead and to look at the whole picture.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in the rural setting is an added
