Job Title:\u00a0FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING (ADVISORY) – CONSULTANT & ASSISTANT CONSULTANT\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Summary & Purpose<\/h5>\n

To ensure effectiveness in engagement delivery and practice management through the application of technical know-how and general project management expertise required to engage and satisfy client needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Description<\/h5>\n

\u2022 Provides team leadership on small-to-medium size projects involving the coaching & development, motivation and support in staff appraisal\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u2022 Maintains sound client relationships
\n\u2022 Communicate relationships to appropriate partners or leaders
\n\u2022 Provides technical guidance in applying PwC\u2019s finance and accounting methodology in all engagements
\n\u2022 Monitors costs against budgets, prepares and follows-up ob bill collections
\n\u2022 Provides honest and timely feedback to staff
\n\u2022 Prepares high quality reports
\n\u2022 Participates in business development initiatives that will involve identifying appropriate opportunities for the firm
\n\u2022 Assists in the preparation of proposals that are consistent with the firm standards<\/p>\n

Requirements\/Academic Qualification<\/h5>\n

\u2022 Degree in Finance\/ Accounting\/ Business Administration or related field\u00a0<\/span>
\nACA, ACCA.
\n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years work experience in the Finance\/ Treasury\/ Accounts function in a reputable organisation.<\/p>\n

Key Skills and competencies<\/h5>\n

\u2022 Strong accounting technical skills\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of both local (SAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
\n\u2022 Skilled in corporate finance methodologies, financial risk management, forecasting and control
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of best practice finance policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of accounting systems and practices
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
\n\u2022 Excellent team building skills.
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and decision making skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
\n\u2022 Strong reporting writing and presentation skills.
\n\u2022 Strong project management skills.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in the use of financial spreadsheet applications.
\n\u2022 Ability to work within tight schedules and timelines.
\n\u2022 Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple engagements and tasks.
\n\u2022 Intuitiveness and attention to detail
\n\u2022 Comfortable at dealing effectively with senior management and managers\/staff.
\n\u2022 Must be self motivated, able to work independently and willing to \u201croll-up their sleeves\u201d to get the job done.
\n\u2022 Must be an individual with a sound knowledge of finance and accounting who is also ready to broaden their skills in other solution sets.
\n\u2022 Must be willing to travel.<\/p>\n
