{"id":24395,"date":"2014-08-28T09:23:15","date_gmt":"2014-08-28T08:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=24395"},"modified":"2016-11-14T16:19:08","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T15:19:08","slug":"graduate-analyst-public-relations-etisalat-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/graduate-analyst-public-relations-etisalat-nigeria.html","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Analyst, Public Relations at Etisalat Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Etisalat&#8217;s<span style=\"color: #000033;\">\u00a0vision is a world where people&#8217;s reach is not limited by matter or distance; a world where people will effortlessly stay in touch with family and friends; a world where businesses of all sizes can reach new markets without the limitations of distance and travel.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Etisalat Nigeria is recruiting to fill the below position of:<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong style=\"color: #000033;\">Job Title: Analyst, Public Relations<\/p>\n<p>Location: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Lagos, NG<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>Communicate key messages using third party endorsements, to defined target audiences in order to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between Etisalat and its public.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and conduct research to find out the concerns and expectations of Etisalat&#8217;s stakeholders and report and explain the findings to the PR team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #000033;\">Principal Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>The main duty and the responsibility of the public relation analyst revolves around planning, developing and implementing public relation strategies by liaising with the PR specialist and Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email, collating and analyzing media coverage, researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media<\/li>\n<li>Write and edit communication materials, speeches, articles etc maintaining and updating information on the Etisalat website.<\/li>\n<li>Not just attending but also organizing events including press conferences, and press tours also sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and manage the public relation aspect of a potential crisis situation<\/li>\n<li>Gain understanding and support from all stakeholders to the business as well as influence opinion and behaviour of the target audience.<\/li>\n<li>Use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Public Relations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #000033;\">Educational Requirements <\/strong><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">First degree in journalism, mass communications or any relevant discipline.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nExperience, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>Minimum of one year post NYSC work experience.
