It was established as an affiliate of the Family Health International (FHI360) to sustain FHI&#8217;s achievements in strengthening indigenous organizational capacity in Nigeria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"mycase4\" style=\"color: #000033;\">AHNi currently has its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. To strengthen our operations in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the vacant position:<br \/>\n<strong><strong><br \/>\nJob Title: Senior Compliance Officer<\/strong><\/strong>Location:<\/p>\n<p>Abuja<strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Senior Compliance Officer Under the direction of Managing Director, the position holder will carry out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of policies, procedures and standards by which AHNi financial resources are managed, review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, adequacy of internal controls, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and the safeguard of assets within AHNi policy framework. S\/He will also be involved in the planning, perform and report back on internal audits to ensure that financial control, financial guidelines of funder organizations and other control procedures in purchasing, procurement and contracting are in place and are being properly implemented and managed within AHNi offices.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMinimum Recruitment Standards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul style=\"color: #000033;\">\n<li>BS\/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3 \u2013 5 years relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Or MS\/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 \u2013 3 years relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>1-3 years&#8217; experience in internal control functions.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with U.S. Government grants or other client funded programs, contracting and auditing standards as they apply to effective management of multi-year funds is required.<\/li>\n<li>CPA, ACA, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"mycase4\" style=\"color: #000033;\"><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n11th September, 2014<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMethod of Application:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease forward suitability statement (application) and resume (CV) as a single MS Word document to:\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000099;\" href=\"mailto:AHNi-F&amp;AJobs@ahnigeria.org\"><strong>AHNi-F&amp;AJobs@ahnigeria.org<\/strong><\/a>Only applications sent electronically (i.e. by e-mail) with the job title and location clearly indicated as the subject of the mail will be considered and only short listed candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)\u00a0is a non-profit organisation that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria.
