Thanks to our people we have continued to deliver growth and exceed expectations in an increasingly complex and challenging marketplace.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Our aim is to become the leading tobacco company in each of our markets by providing excellent products with confidence and responsibility expected of global consumer brands.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">If you have the talent and motivation to help us succeed you\u2019ll find we are equally committed to helping you reach your full potential too.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">British American Tobacco Nigeria (BATN) is recruiting to fill the position of:\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nJob Title: Technical Trainee Programme for 2014<\/strong><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Job Number: 5220BR<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Location\/City: Ibadan<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nJob purpose and key deliverables\u00a0<\/strong><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Manufacturing and Engineering continues to be the bedrock of a developing economy and as part of British American Tobacco&#8217;s commitment to developing technical skills, we are seeking applicants into our Technical Trainee Programme for 2014.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nThe programme:<\/strong><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">The programme is a 12-month technical skills learning opportunity targeted at passionate, young, and talented individuals with the required potentials to deliver on business goals and also designed to build the required technical capabilities and competencies relevant to the Manufacturing Industry driven by a Performance learning approach.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">Continuous assessment and appraisal of trainees will take place during the period of training and on successful completion of the training programme, a certificate of participation will be awarded.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">BAT is not obliged to provide employment to all trainees on successful completion of the programme; however trainees will be kept in a pool for future employment when the opportunity presents itself.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><strong style=\"color: #000033;\"><br \/>\nEnrolment Condition:<\/strong><br style=\"color: #000033;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000033;\">All enrolled trainees will receive a monthly trainee\u2019s allowance to cover incidental expenses throughout the duration of the programme.
