Our client, a first generation bank in the Nigeria economy seeks to recruit highly intelligent, young, well articulated and dynamic professionals with integrity for the position below:<\/p>\n

TRANSACTION OFFICERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

JOB DESCRIPTION:<\/strong>
\nTaking deposit from customers and crediting their accounts respectively.
\nCollection and posting of dividend<\/span> warrant
\nProcessing of cheque lodgement for local and central clearing
\nOpening of Savings and Current Accounts<\/span>
\nCalling of tellers transaction on daily basis
\nPosting of profit and loss<\/span> account
\nPayment of cheques<\/span> that meet mandate requirements
\nReceive all cheques of any amount, provide timely and courteous teller services
\nObtain approval from head of tellers or appropriate authority for amount beyond own limit.
\nMonitor the cash-in-till balance<\/span> and request for funds as required.
\nPerform other duties as assigned by head of tellers.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<\/strong>
\nOpen and close of teller batch for the day\u2019s operations.
\nPayment of cash and cheques withdrawal to customers.
\nReceived of both cash and cheques deposit into customers accounts.
\nRegister of all cash transactions in their respective registers and balance registers daily.
\nPosting all customers\u2019 transactions.
\nCheck customer\u2019s balance and verify customer\u2019s signatures.
\nEnsure cash analyses are done on all cash transactions.
\nCall over of daily transactions.
\nEscalation<\/span> of issues bothering on cash theft, lose, shortages\/ overages.
\nCarries out other tasks as assigned by the head of teller<\/p>\n

Educational Qualification
\nHND Graduate only (Minimum Lower Credit)
\nAge: Not more than 27 years
\nExperience in the banking industry will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
