\nThe BAT Warehouse Assistant provides basic warehousing functions of receipts, storage and issuance of materials \/goods and to avoid damage or wastages in the process.<\/p>\n
\nMaintenance of proper storage of all company stocks in the warehouse, effective receipts of stocks and despatch to external\/internal customers.
\nManagement of records in the warehouse in accordance with record management policy
\nEnsure physical stock movement is posted in the system.
\nEnforcement compliance with BAT EHS guidelines in all warehouse activities
\nEnsure Self Development by improving knowledge of the other roles in the department
\nEnsure development and implementation of Training & Development plans for self as agreed with his supervisor\/manager.
\nProvision of required<\/span> information\/data as required by the superiors.
\nMinimization of cost through effective use of resources.
\nEnsure good house keeping<\/span> in the warehouse at all time.
\nEnsure that accurate daily stock reports are sent out to all stake holders on time.
\nMaintain good working<\/span> relationships across the supply chain, SMD, and ENG. department
\nMaintain good working relationship with our external supplier.
\nProvide ways of ensuring warehouse process are followed with less difficulty<\/p>\n
\nThe main challenge for this role lies in ensuring good knowledge of materials and finished goods so that he\/she will be able to interpret material specification sheets and finished product code so that any mistake can be identified easily.<\/p>\n
\nA minimum of OND in any numerical or financial courses.
\nExperience in use of material handling<\/span> equipments e.g. forklift
\nSound Analytical skills and ability to work with figures.
\nComputer literacy sufficient to be able to perform all physical transactions in the system and sending of daily reports.
\nAbility to work under pressure and with less supervision.
\nExperience in an FMCG handling large number<\/span> of SKUs preferably with a manufacturing organisation sufficient to demonstrate understanding of products
\nSound knowledge and understanding of the warehouse processes.<\/p>\n
\nThis work involves the controlling, operating and monitoring of Engineering<\/span>\/Utilities<\/span> machines within the Engineering Department in order to support the manufacturing department to manufacture products on time and in full according to specified quality standards and at optimum cost<\/p>\n
\nOperate the Utilities\/Engineering equipment according to the standard operating procedures<\/span> in order to continuously make the equipment to be 100% available according to standard maintenance practices in all or multiple equipment layout within the department.
\nCheck that those multiple equipment have a maintenance plan\/schedule in conformance to manufacturer\u2019s standards.
\nConduct daily and weekly cleaning maintenance schedule<\/span> according to prescribed procedures to ensure efficient machine performance.
\nComplete relevant documents\/checklists as prescribed in order to ensure availability of accurate maintenance data.
\nApply EHS procedures and good housekeeping practices in order to prevent personal injuries<\/span> and damage to equipment.
\nEnsure a prompt end of shift report of all Technical issues preventing the machines<\/span> in his domain from achieving optimum performance.
\nCarry out a comprehensive maintenance job with necessary supervision and controlling of other team members to achieve this aim.
\nAbility to perform routine maintenance on all available Engineering\/Utilities P, M & E.<\/p>\n
\nPotential in the technical field.
\nMust pass the technical proficiency test, and also show a high level of hands on skills.
\nMinimum of Six years experience on utilities plants and equipment in a fast moving consumer goods environment will serve as an advantage.<\/p>\n
