{"id":24819,"date":"2015-02-02T03:58:33","date_gmt":"2015-02-02T02:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=24819"},"modified":"2015-02-02T05:57:13","modified_gmt":"2015-02-02T04:57:13","slug":"nddc-post-graduate-foreign-scholarship-program-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/nddc-post-graduate-foreign-scholarship-program-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"NDDC Post-Graduate Foreign Scholarship Program 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) was established in 2000 with the mission of facilitating the rapid, even and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our Human Resource Development initiatives, NDDC is embarking on a Post-Graduate Foreign Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Local Content programme of the current Administration as well as compete globally in various professional fields.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2015 Post-Graduate Foreign Scholarship Programme<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDescription<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor&#8217;s\/Master&#8217;s Degree from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Medical Sciences (M.Sc. Public Health excluded)<\/li>\n<li>Computer Science\/Technology<\/li>\n<li>Geology<\/li>\n<li>Geosciences<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Environmental or Gas\/Oil Law<\/li>\n<li>Project Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master&#8217;s Degree programme and a good Master&#8217;s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have gained admission for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a foreign University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who have already enrolled in overseas&#8217; universities are NOT eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantor&#8217;s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant&#8217;s community\/clan:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Member of National Assembly<\/li>\n<li>Chairman of the LGA.
