Capable of analyzing and solving complex well workover and intervention problems. Technically & operationally credible with workover engineers, the Petroleum Engineering Group, WSM\u2019s & contractor personnel.<\/p>\n Demonstrate commitment to employee development. \nDRILL SITE MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nJob is available in these locations: Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria<\/p>\n
\n1) Ensure the safety of all personnel
\n2) Supervise the execution of drilling program
\n3) Supervise the work<\/span> direction of service<\/span> partners on well location
\n4) Sign field invoices<\/span> for service partner goods and services<\/span>
\n5) Supervise and mentor less experienced personnel
\n6) Assist in incident investigations
\n7) Assist in after action reviews
\n8 ) Assist in formulation of Plan of Action
\n9) Represent Chevron Nigeria in all phases of the well execution

\nQUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong>
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Lower Credit, respectively.
\n
\nEXPERIENCE:<\/strong>
\nMinimum of fifteen (15) years relevant post-degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in any combination of the following:
\n\u2013 direct rig site supervision
\n\u2013 drilling engineering and well planning
\n\u2013 directional drilling
\n\u2013 well logging activities
\n\u2013 well completion<\/span> activities
\n\u2013 well cementing activities
\n\u2013 logistical coordination
\n\u2013 safety leadership
\n\u2013 Drilling fluids experience
\n\u2013 solids control experience
\n\u2013 well workover and intervention activities
\n\u2013 coordinate and supervise diverse work team and multi-national cultures
\n\u2013 community relations<\/span>
\n\u2013 drilling rig experience as Driller, Tool Pusher, Tour Pusher or OIM

\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\n\u2013 Demonstrates leadership quality with proven record and behaviours to promote rig site safety for an incident free workplace. Ability to drive cultural change at rig site and achieve an incident free work place.

\n\u2013 It will also provide all engineering operations support for a HWOU (Hydraulic
\nWorkover Unit)..
\n\u2013 The roles of the workover\/intervention team will include all well work within the

\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT<\/strong>
\nEngineering and Coordination Skills \u2013 Able to manage and coordinate enginnering, operations and logistics activities of many contractors to support workover operations in a complex and challenging remote location.<\/p>\n
\nOperations will be supported from Chevron Nigeria\u2019s Escravos facilities and shorebase near the mouth of the Escravos River. Security is well established at the Escravos shorebase. There is significant additional activity ongoing near Escravos with the nearing completion of the Escravos Gas to Liquids plant.<\/p>\n
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering. This is not required if candidate has more than 20 years<\/span> experience in relevant workover intervention.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum of 15 years experience in workover intervention.<\/p>\n
