SWAT TEAM<\/strong><\/p>\n

INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE<\/strong>
\nThe SWAT team is a tactical high potential team of individuals dedicated to working on Jumia\u2019s most complex opportunities, on a project mode.
\nEach SWAT team member will work under the direct supervision of Jumia\u2019s senior executives (CEOs, MDs and VPs).
\nWe are looking for talented individuals with imaginative and resourceful approaches to problem solving in the area of project management, strategic growth, business development, and retail development.<\/p>\n

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/strong>
\nProvide analytical and execution support to the organization\u2019s growth initiatives depending on what projects, departments and functions is assigned.
\nAbility to work with senior leaders to deliver business partnerships<\/span> or provide insights and key actions in support of their strategic agenda.
\nCoordinate and manage the process for internal projects delivery including the interaction with external advisors and supervision of workflow between multiple teams and internal senior leaders.
\nPrepare periodic progress reports<\/span> to senior management and MDs on each project assigned.<\/p>\n

\nRe-negotiating payment terms with our suppliers.
\nStreamlining the key \u201ctime-to-online\u201d processes.
\nSupport the operational implementation of an ERP.
\nRedefining our pricing strategy per category<\/span>.
\nLead the company-wide project to improve customer satisfaction .
\nEnhance route planning processes of our own-fleet delivery.
\nBuild a performance management system<\/span> for our sales forces.<\/p>\n

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\nThe ideal candidate will provide a combination of a strategic mindset with the ability to execute on set objectives and achieve desired outcomes.
\nMBA background is preferred but not required.
\nAt least 4-5 years of relevant experience at a leading bank, buy-side institution<\/span>, consulting firm, where primary experience includes business development, project management and strategic execution.
\nStrategic expertise in consumer-focused companies\/industries (e.g. retail, fashion, consumer products, e-commerce) a plus.
\nStrong business skills and familiarity with retail analytics
\nAbility to collect data, establish facts, assess results, and draw sound conclusions.
\nAdept at presenting information, and communicating across all levels<\/span> of the organization.
\nProven ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership
\nStrong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint<\/span>.
\nStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skill
\nDrive and entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude required to bring maximum impact
\nExperience in Africa \/ Nigeria is a plus.

\nSENIOR BUYER FASHION
\n<\/strong>

ROLE<\/strong>
\nA Senior Buyer is responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell on a retail platform. When sourcing products, Buyers must focus on two areas: sourcing new product<\/span> along with ensuring improved prices are obtained on existing items to maximize profits.
\nA full understanding of the customer\u2019s needs is required<\/span> to ensure not only is a commercially viable range provided, but it is done at competitive prices.
\nKeeping up to date with market trends and reacting to changes in demand are also key elements of the role. Retail buyers have a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy in what is often a pressured environment.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>
\nThe position Senior Buyer \u2013 Fashion entails:
\nAnalysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends and reacting to changes in demand
\nRegularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels
\nMaintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
\nMeeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract
\nLiaising with other departments within the organisation such as Finance, Inbound & Production Teams to ensure products are sourced and uploaded to the site seamlessly
\nAttending trade fairs to select and assemble<\/span> a new collection of products;
\nparticipating in promotional activities;
\nPresenting new ranges to senior retail managers;
\nTraining and mentoring junior staff.<\/p>\n

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\nBA\/MA\/MBA in Retail or Business.
\nStrong demonstration of the following skills: Analytical, Negotiation Leadership Communication, Teamwork & Interpersonal.

B2C TERRITORY MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nJOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong>
\nAs one of the 3 B2C Territory managers, you will report directly to the Director of Sales Forces and be based either in Abuja, PHC or Lagos.
\nYou will be part of Jumia\u2019s senior management team.
\nRole is at VP level and could lead to grow into a Director role.
\nThe ambition for the channel is high, as Jumia aims at multiplying by 10 the size of this channel in the next 12 months
\nThe position of B2C Territory Manager entails:<\/p>\n

End-to-end management of the pyramidal direct sales channel processes (Captain and agents performance management)
\nFull ownership on the channel performance (including sales volume, channel profitability, team morale and customer experience)
\nExpansion of the geographical span of the team in your territory, sanctioned by the grooming and promotion of new cohorts of captains
\nDeep \/ hands-on managing and coaching of the teams (negotiation skills, reactivation skills\u2026)
\nLiaise with Operations team to ensure proper feedback and resolution of issues<\/p>\n

\nThe ambition for the channel is extremely high, as Jumia aims at multiplying by more than 6 the size of this channel in the next 12 months.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>
\nThe position of Head of B2B2C entails:
\nEnd-to-end management of the B2B2C sales processes (territory allocation and management).
\nClose monitoring and understanding of the existing retails channels in our priority territories (including market share vision).
\nDirect ownership of the biggest \/ most important trade partners (especially MTN\u2019s).
\nExpansion of the geographical span of the team beyond Lagos to fulfill the Sales Force roadmap vision.
\nLeadership over the team recruitment<\/span> & expansion exercise.
\nSet-up and management of the coaching team.
\nDevising payment and services<\/span> offerings strategy for the channel.<\/p>\n

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong>
\nDemonstrated very solid track record in retail sales channel management in Nigeria, ideally for a renowned FMCG \u2013 can prove and rely upon a solid understanding of retails channels in Nigeria.

Compensation

\nAs a Customer Service Agent, you will be part of the Customer Service team in Jumia Nigeria the leading online platform in Africa.
\nWe are looking for an open-minded and outgoing person with extensive marketing and event management experience.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES <\/strong>
\nYour areas of responsibility include:
\nAssisting selling processes for our customers and generating additional Sales
\nCoordinating information to customers browsing our websites during store discovery, order and checkout. Including after sales support.
\nPerforming phone conversations with customers to answer their questions, provide information and advise them.
\nHandling special requests and complaints of customers.
\nCollecting and storing useful data within our backend system.
\nEnsuring follow up through emails, phone or any required means.<\/p>\n
