Pact accomplishes this by strengthening local capacity, forging effective governance systems, and transforming markets into a force for development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>HEALTH SYSTEM STRENGTHENING OFFICER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><br \/>\nThe HSS Officer will provide daily program support <span id=\"IL_AD1\" class=\"IL_AD\">services<\/span> ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work to the SPHCOA in coordination with the HSS Advisor.<br \/>\nThe HSS Officer will work in close collaboration with the operations, program staff required to exchange <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">information<\/span> and support program delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIFIC DUTIES<\/strong><br \/>\nSupport the preparation of materials for staff development including mentoring and training. Participate in the development of work plans, quarterly\/periodic\/special reports, and other project documentation.<br \/>\nInform and improve health indicators at program and portfolio levels in order to strengthen the capturing and communication of health outcomes and impact.<br \/>\nMonitor implementation and quality of technical health activities in all project areas and develop action plans to address identified gaps.<br \/>\nWork with other project officers, government officials and facility level personnel to develop and implement capacity building exercises for local civil society and government partners to improve their work and performance.<br \/>\nAssist in ensuring that project activities proceeds in a timely and successful manner.<br \/>\nAssist with desk review of existing assessments reports, identify and fill information gaps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION<\/strong><br \/>\nMBBS, or BA in <span id=\"IL_AD6\" class=\"IL_AD\">Public Health<\/span>, Development, Public Administration or another related field<br \/>\nMinimum of <span id=\"IL_AD7\" class=\"IL_AD\">4 years<\/span> of experience incapacity development of CSOs and\/or government<br \/>\nExtensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and <span id=\"IL_AD2\" class=\"IL_AD\">PowerPoint<\/span><br \/>\nProficiency in developing and managing a budget; experience in developing strategic plans, work plans, fundraising plans, knowledge of sound financial, <span id=\"IL_AD3\" class=\"IL_AD\">human resources<\/span>, and administrative policy and procedures.<br \/>\nExperience in facilitation and training<\/p>\n<p><strong>TO <span id=\"IL_AD8\" class=\"IL_AD\">APPLY<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their resume\/CV and <span id=\"IL_AD5\" class=\"IL_AD\">cover letter<\/span> on their suitability to:\u00a0<a class=\"bbc_email\" href=\"mailto:pactnghr@pactworld.org\">pactnghr@pactworld.org<\/a> All CV\u2019s\/resume\/applications MUST be in either word format or PDF.
