{"id":25290,"date":"2015-05-12T07:05:03","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T06:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=25290"},"modified":"2016-11-17T12:49:31","modified_gmt":"2016-11-17T11:49:31","slug":"nigerian-bottling-company-limited-and-itf-neca-technical-skills-development-training-programme-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/nigerian-bottling-company-limited-and-itf-neca-technical-skills-development-training-programme-2015.html","title":{"rendered":"Nigerian Bottling Company Limited and ITF &#8211; NECA Technical Skills Development Training Programme 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and the Nigeria Employers&#8217; Consultative Association (NECA)<\/strong>, in collaboration with Nigerian Bottling Company Limited, wishes to admit qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive eighteen months training programme on Technical Skills Development in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Bottling Process<\/li>\n<li>Industrial Mechatronics<\/li>\n<li>Automation and Process Control Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Machine Shop Operation<\/li>\n<li>General Fittings and Welding<\/li>\n<li>Utility Maintenance and Operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are invited for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Trainee Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Ikeja, Lagos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To train and equip youths with employable skills in the vocational areas listed above.<\/li>\n<li>To promote a Public-Private sector model in Technical and Vocational skills training.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to the capacity development of our country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition, lunch and a monthly stipend (not salary) for the entire duration of the program. It is a non-residential training at our Technical Training Centre located in Ikeja, Lagos.<\/li>\n<li>Trainees will be exposed to classroom, hands-on sessions and on-the-job training experience in any of Nigerian Bottling Company Limited Plants in Abuja, Asejire, Benin, Challawa, Enugu, Ikeja, Ilorin, Jos, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Owerri and Port Harcourt.<\/li>\n<li>Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees will receive internal certificates of participation, while trainees will be prepared for the City and Guilds (London) external examination and may be offered permanent employment as Technicians or Technical Operators with the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualification<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates must possess the following qualifications among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from recognized and accredited institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Industrial experience will be an added advantage,<\/li>\n<li>Applicants should not be more than twenty six (26) years old as at the time of application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n25th May,2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcltdcareers.com\/jobDetails.php?jobid=62\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only applications made on the website will be accepted<\/li>\n<li>Candidates who meet the stated criteria will be email or by phone.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants shall sit for a Computer Based Test and successful candidates will be invited for an oral interview &amp;
