Monitoring and Evaluation Department<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitoring and Evaluation\u00a0Officer (LAMIS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Cross River Zone<\/p>\n<p>The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (LAMIS), under the supervision of the Senior M&amp;E Officer, Zonal Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and the Zonal Program Manager, with technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation will be responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities specific to the Lafiya Management Information System (LAMIS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical and programmatic support for implementing high quality care\/support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV\/AIDS and PMTCT at the public health evaluation\/LAM IS facilities in the zones<\/li>\n<li>The M&amp;E Officer (LAMIS) will work with other zonal office and LAMIS facility staff to ensure that activities at the LAMIS\/PHE sites are appropriate and meet government, donor and project needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MBBS\/MD and MPH or related postgraduate qualification with 3 years clinical experience in HIV\/AIDS programs in developing countries and at least 1-2 years working with facility level data<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with local partners, including NGOs and CBOs, and knowledge of the local context<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infection and ability to work well with government facility staff<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills and experience with standard statistical software (STATA or SPSS) is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay attention to detail and well developed written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with USAID programs is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method of Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should forward their suitability statement (application) and resume (CV) as a single MS Word document to: MandEjobs@ghain.org for Monitoring and Evaluation Department vacancies<\/p>\n<p>Only applications sent electronically (i.e. by e-mail) with the job title and location clearly indicated as the subject of the mail will be considered, and only short listed candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not send more than one application.
