The Group employs about 88,900 people in around 135 countries.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Customer Service Care Agent<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nRef.: ML-080580<br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Port-Harcourt<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Customer Service Care Agent- owns and manages the customer experience of his\/her customers.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively monitors and manages the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates closely with all internal and external stakeholders, builds relationships with the customers and leverages on understanding customer business drivers for improved and sustained business relationship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be the primary point of contact for assigned CARE customers and act as an advocate for these customers, internally within Maersk line<\/li>\n<li>Attend to walk-in customers enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Finance team to ensure invoice and payment timeliness and accuracy and avoidance of unjustified cost initiated within and outside functional scope.<\/li>\n<li>Actively build strong relationships with customers and gain an understanding of their business, service needs, drivers and desires amongst others through regular customer visits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment life cycle, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations from the transport plan, including potential solutions or alternatives.<\/li>\n<li>Be the owner of all customer issues and engage relevant stakeholders as required to facilitate timely and effective solutions and be fully responsible for customer satisfaction of assigned customers.<\/li>\n<li>Understand claims policy and its impact on company assets and guide customers best possible through any potential claim situation.<\/li>\n<li>Understand per diem\/demurrage implications for containers and its impact on company revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial intelligence: engage customers in discussions about new business opportunities, business and support expectations and competitors\/market intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements <\/strong><br \/>\nWho we are looking for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum two year experience in shipping related customer services or sales role<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Well organized, efficient and effective<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proactive and customer-oriented<\/li>\n<li>Possess ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Establish and monitor quality standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n28th July, 2015.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nHow to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobsearch.maersk.com\/vacancies\/publication?pinst=005056A52F591EE58BF764FE48F99D41&amp;CallBackUrl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.maersk.com%2fsystem%2fsapcallbackurl&amp;userid=\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maersk Line is the world\u2019s largest container shipping company, known for reliable, flexible and eco-efficient services.
