{"id":257,"date":"2009-09-18T11:16:48","date_gmt":"2009-09-18T10:16:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=257"},"modified":"2010-10-17T13:55:23","modified_gmt":"2010-10-17T12:55:23","slug":"transport-coordinator-worleyparsons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/transport-coordinator-worleyparsons.html","title":{"rendered":"Transport Coordinator: WorleyParsons Jobs in Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-172\" title=\"worleyparsons\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/worleyparsons1.gif\" alt=\"worleyparsons\" width=\"220\" height=\"55\" \/>Worleyparsons<\/strong> Nigeria seeks the services of a <strong>Transport Coordinator,<\/strong> Job Code: NG-LAG-2009-16555 \u00a0this is a full time position to be based in Lagos Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate must have the underlisted requirements<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"More...\" src=\"https:\/\/nigeriajoblist.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n* Knowledge and experience of transport sections \/ operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 High level of organizational skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to make sound and sensible decisions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Results orientated and proactive.<br \/>\n\u2022 Able to work under time line restraints.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good level of inter-personnel communication skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Able to readily priorities work tasks.<br \/>\n\u2022 Effective Team member, but able to work without supervision.<\/p>\n<p>oversee the daily operations of the DeltaAfrik Transport Section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Management of the fleet database.<br \/>\nEnsure vehicle documents and insurance papers are current.\u00a0<br \/>\nSupervise driver selection and training.<br \/>\nEnsure contract drivers meet the terms of their contracts with DeltaAfrik.<br \/>\nAssist in arranging and planning initial and recurring driver specialty training for safety and skill development. Plan future driver and vehicle requirements, selection, acquisition, training, operation and maintenance.<br \/>\nEnsure appropriate maintenance schedules and records are established and adhered to for transportation assets.<br \/>\nCoordinate spare part orders, maintenance and accountability.<br \/>\nCoordinate with security for accident response and documentation including personal presence at the scene if required.<br \/>\nInitiate safety and vehicle accident reports as appropriate, to include investigation and follow up action items.<br \/>\nOversee the compiling of the monthly statistics reports and investigate abnormalities.<br \/>\nCo-chair the weekly drivers safety meeting.<br \/>\nDevelop the weekly \/ monthly driver roster and requirements.<br \/>\nEnsure all vehicles are equipped with the required documentation and safety equipment as per Nigerian Law and DeltaAfrik guidelines.\u00a0 To include vehicle insurance.\u00a0<br \/>\nEstablish and maintain an inventory of all equipment assigned to the Transportation Section to include vehicles.<br \/>\nEnsure the vehicle tracking system is working in all vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Carry out any other task, which may be assigned by the Transport &amp; Journey Management Supervisor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/worleyparsons.ats.hrsmart.com\/cgi-bin\/a\/highlightjob.cgi?jobid=16555\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Worleyparsons Nigeria seeks the services of a Transport Coordinator, Job Code: NG-LAG-2009-16555 \u00a0this is a full time position to be based in Lagos Nigeria.
