Provide input for Daily Outage and Weekly Installation Reports.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Communicate effectively with Service Managers utilizing customers CTQ in job planning and execution and with Resource Directors regarding site arrivals, departures and job progression<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Provides leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Possess technical capacity to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment vintages<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Troubleshoot mechanical operations and maintenance problems in the steam and\/or gas turbine technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 10px; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; text-indent: -10px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Two+ years in mechanical or industrial engineering<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management and Web-based applications<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Willingness and ability to travel significantly with no geographical restrictions<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Must have ability to perform night work as required to meet business needs<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Must have a valid drivers license or ability to obtain one<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 10px; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; text-indent: -10px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering is preferred<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Business acumen and ability to sell GE products to the customer<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Customer service mindset<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Strong organizational skills and project management skills (prior experience preferred)<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Exceptional oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Solid interpersonal and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Prior field engineering experience is preferred<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Click here to Apply online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE Oil &amp; Gas Nigeria is recruiting a\u00a0Field Engineers (6) The candidates will be experienced, and the role is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
