a world where people will effortlessly stay in touch with family and friends; a world where businesses of all sizes can reach new markets without the limitations of distance and travel.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Manager, BSS HLS<\/p>\n<p>Location:<\/strong> Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in major incident reviews, support incident managers in identifying real causes and accurate descriptions of incidents and impacts, recommend remedial actions and resolve all issues that are escalated<\/li>\n<li>Perform second level and necessary back office support to Field, BSS and NOC teams<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate BSS database management, including network parameter changes, BSC\/RNC rehoming, cutovers, network upgrades, BTS\/NodeB rehoming and packet switch configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the implementation of BSS\/RAN-related work orders (WOs) and change requests (CRs)<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate corrective RAN\/BSS maintenance as required, and assist field operation teams to resolve BSS\/RAN issues including clearing of QOS alarms, resolving BSS- related outage and network problems.<\/li>\n<li>Implement crisis management and service continuity policies and procedures to ensure minimal disruptions to the business in the event of any disaster.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively work with other stakeholders on network incidents requiring cross-departmental collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Provide efficient, timely and effective remedies to network issues and requirements and ensure minimal disruption to business.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and identify root causes of major incidences and ensure its resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director, Network Operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Six (6) to Eight (8) years work experience with at least three (3) in a supervisory role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GSM, EDGE, WCDMA Technologies<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Network Topology and Connectivity<\/li>\n<li>Network Availability and Capacity Management<\/li>\n<li>Fault and Incident Management<\/li>\n<li>Change Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaming<\/li>\n<li>Delegation\/ Supervisory<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Accountability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavior:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passion for Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Empowering people<\/li>\n<li>Growing people<\/li>\n<li>Team work<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs?viewJob=&amp;jobId=76668589&amp;trk=vsrp_jobs_res_name&amp;trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A2275102231444147478867%2CVSRPtargetId%3A76668589%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Etisalat&#8217;s vision is a world where people&#8217;s reach is not limited by matter or distance;
