environment, taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pay television industry<\/li>\n<li>Multi-disciplined IS environment<\/li>\n<li>Subscriber management services<\/li>\n<li>Leading edge technology and business sciences<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic changing environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customers<\/strong><br \/>\n(Internal and External factors which influence the work environment, taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MAL<\/li>\n<li>MCN Management<\/li>\n<li>Strategy<\/li>\n<li>Marketing and Sales<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Group companies<\/li>\n<li>Internal divisions responsible for content, customer care and allocation of resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure that the MultiChoice Nigeria\/business units are supported in terms of Existing and New Information requirements to enable rapid, accurate assessments of actual and potential threats and opportunities within the micro and macro environments.<\/li>\n<li>Provide Key insights as requested as well proactively looking at opportunities and process\/productivity improvements across the business.<\/li>\n<li>The individual will maintain key relationships with Senior Management positions and ensure that all informational requirements are meeting expectations in terms of relevance and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>The individual will also ensure that CII standards, documents and process are adhered to across MultiChoice Nigeria for consistency and that all work is always created for the greater business, communicated and shared.<\/li>\n<li>This person must be capable of fulfilling an adhoc advisory\/consulting role to the business in order to maximise key business areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Outputs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead Analytics Capability in MultiChoice Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Manage customer expectations in terms of delivery and communication<\/li>\n<li>Communicate analytics results by constructing a storyline that can be easily understood across the business<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring of Data Insights Analysts<\/li>\n<li>Be able to concisely convey business requirements to the Information Analyst team and sign-off and UAT the final delivery to the customer<\/li>\n<li>Design and own best practice and methodology for campaign measurement, post campaign analysis and business casing of new initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Perform exploratory data analysis to identify relationships in high-dimensional data<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with CII divisions on data management initiatives to drive collection and validation of required data to enable analytics<\/li>\n<li>Build dashboards and reports that can effectively translate data into insights<\/li>\n<li>Establish rapport with key stakeholders in MAL and\/or MultiChoice to demonstrate value of analytics<\/li>\n<li>Working with external intelligence providers, marketing, research, to extract relevant data for marketing decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Benchmarking and tracking success metrics to show return on investment<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively and build relationships with external clients and internal management across the organization<\/li>\n<li>Ensure exposure and usage of new Information sources for the Regions and Countries<\/li>\n<li>Promote self-service for MAL and MultiChoice Nigeria business units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functional Competencies<\/strong><br \/>\n(Personal capabilities which are critical to the production of quality outputs):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven ability to manage stakeholders and prioritise projects<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge in Business Analytics and the presentation thereof<\/li>\n<li>Has a good understanding of Technology and BI techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, presentation &amp; influencing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Provide insights and defend findings convincingly<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills including facilitation of groups toward deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain vast network of professional relationships<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder management<\/li>\n<li>Strong business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Managerial and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive management style.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or four-year related degree, and\/or equivalent work related experience.<\/li>\n<li>1 to 3 years\u2019 experience in a Management Support role function<\/li>\n<li>1 to 3 years\u2019 experience in Analytics and being able to portray a worthy storyline from the analyzed data and information to management<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience managing direct reports<\/li>\n<li>Very strong PowerPoint
