With shared values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Passion and Professionalism (TRIPP), the Oando Group comprises six companies who are leaders in their market.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Officer, Oando Foundation<\/p>\n<p>Location:<\/strong> Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nFinance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of Annual Budget<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly analysis of expense and revenue and compare to budget, explaining trend and variances<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the preparation of monthly Management accounts<\/li>\n<li>Posting and verification of transactions into the accounting system.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a system for compliance with Donor regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Support grant financial close-out process and documentation review<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all internal and external financial reports and budgets proposals<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining Fixed asset register and subsidiary Ledgers<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the annual financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the \u201cFinance Policy Manual\u201d to ensure that it continues to meet the Foundation\u2019s objectives and ensure compliance and periodic updates<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and monitor accounting controls<\/li>\n<li>Provide institutional strengthening and capacity building support to implementing entities,<\/li>\n<li>Developing systems and tools for strengthening and tracking sub recipients financial processes identify solutions to challenges that arise.<\/li>\n<li>Treasury<\/li>\n<li>Execute finance and treasury activities and accounting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain bank mandates and be responsible for banking relationships<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tax:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with preparation of federal &amp; state income and franchise tax returns and payments<\/li>\n<li>Assist with preparation of responses to various tax audits<\/li>\n<li>Assist with responses to notices regarding federal and state tax issue<\/li>\n<li>Assist with preparation of income tax provision and tax account reconciliation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Audit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support to auditors during audit of the annual financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for 100% completion and preparation of working papers required in the annual audit.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out the necessary post-audit adjustment required on the financial statements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accuracy of transaction processing (posting of entries etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy of accounting schedules prepared<\/li>\n<li>Quality and timeliness of accounting report produced<\/li>\n<li>Level of adherence to regulatory\/statutory reporting guidelines and timelines<\/li>\n<li>Quality and ease of retrieval of financial information\/documents and reports<\/li>\n<li>Effectiveness of documentation management and accessibility of information<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated cost saving practices employed day-to-day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs2\/view\/114103691?trk=vsrp_jobs_res_name&amp;trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A2728797341458558276665%2CVSRPtargetId%3A114103691%2CVSRPcmpt%3Aprimary\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oando PLC is one of Africa&#8217;s largest integrated energy solutions providers with a proud heritage.
