{"id":26374,"date":"2016-04-18T08:58:53","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T07:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=26374"},"modified":"2016-04-18T08:58:53","modified_gmt":"2016-04-18T07:58:53","slug":"massive-entry-level-police-recruitment-at-the-police-service-commission-psc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/massive-entry-level-police-recruitment-at-the-police-service-commission-psc.html","title":{"rendered":"Massive Entry-Level Police Recruitment at the Police Service Commission (PSC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Police Service Commission (PSC)<\/strong>, in pursuance of its Constitutional Mandate, invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for appointment into the Nigeria Police Force in the capacity below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Police Constable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Location: Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants must have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force and must satisfy the following general requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a Nigerian citizen<\/li>\n<li>Be certified mentally and physically fit by a Nigeria Police Medical Doctor or a Government Medical Practitioner.<\/li>\n<li>Must not have any previous criminal record(s).<\/li>\n<li>Must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men, and 1.63 metres for women.<\/li>\n<li>Must not have less than 86 cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men).<\/li>\n<li>Must present verifiable references from any two (2) of the following:<\/li>\n<li>Traditional Rulers, Magistrate, Local Government Chairman, Heads of Educational Institutions attended, Career Civil Servant not below the rank of Grade Level 12, Police Officer not below the rank of CSR or Military Officer not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Possession of a valid National Drivers\u2019 License Is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic and Age Requirements for both Specialist &amp; General Duty<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an O&#8217;Level certificate or its equivalent with at least five credit level passes including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specialists<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To apply for a Specialist position, candidates must possess relevant certificates and\/or credentials in the required technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li>This Certificate must be equivalent to the minimum entry qualification(s) of the position applied for.
