We offer business support and integrated solutions in different areas that ensure business objectives are achieved.<\/p>\n<p>Critically, we evaluate issues as they impact your business, and consequently deploy the appropriate skills and competencies to proffer the needed solutions.<\/p>\n<p>We seek the service of a suitably qualified candidate for our client, an NGO, (preferably Female) for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accountant<br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee in this job process and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, bank reconciliation, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal vouchers;<\/li>\n<li>Review and code financial information;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and process documents to disburse funds, make deposits and prepare reports;<\/li>\n<li>Compile and review information for accuracy; and maintain records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Detailed Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Documents financial transactions by entering account information.<\/li>\n<li>Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.<\/li>\n<li>Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplish the result by performing the duty<\/li>\n<li>Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Secures financial information by completing data base backups.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains financial security by following internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duty of similar deliverable that may be assigned from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizational skills with attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in an NGO would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Finance, confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Data entry management, Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Office (word, excel, Power point) a MUST and accounting software usage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Reporting skills, deadline-oriented, time management<\/li>\n<li>Reasoning ability, mathematical ability, and logical thinking skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have 3 &#8211; 6 years work experience in similar accounting duties.<\/li>\n<li>Previous exposure in a related NGO is desired.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate is preferably Female.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nN100, 000 &#8211; N120, 000 \/ m (base on experience).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV&#8217;s to: <strong>mgtpositions@stresert.com<\/strong> using &#8216;RSA2&#8217; as subject of mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Candidates who do not meet the above criteria need not apply.
