Eaton has approximately 97,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.<\/p>\n<p>Eaton Electrical Nigeria is searching for a Product Manager based in Lagos, and reporting to the Marketing Manager \u2013 Africa.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:<\/b> <strong>Product Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Primary Function<u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Product Manager is a key member of the Eaton Product Management team and will be responsible for all electrical products and solutions offerings and mapping client business requirements to systems\/technical requirements supporting the West Africa region.<\/p>\n<p>Provide Technical Solution offerings to the Sales Department Africa-wide.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with Account Managers and product management teams in South Africa and EMEA to ensure that technically correct, accurate quotations are submitted for solutions offered.<\/p>\n<p>Present solution offerings to End users, Partner and Consultants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist locally with the product launches and solutions drive into the West African region.<\/li>\n<li>Share best practices and be a consultant to clients throughout duration of any project or sale<\/li>\n<li>Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training, design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the entire team<\/li>\n<li>Prepare solution offerings for turnkey solutions, Offering Partners both new and existing products but not limited to Safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical and Electronic Engineering Degree<\/li>\n<li>10 years or more experience in the electrical products and solutions.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of both installation and manufacturing standards (EN).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local market and competition<\/li>\n<li>Strong presentation and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Eaton Offers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent working environment \u2013 safety and ethic is really important for us<\/li>\n<li>Eaton Business System offering various tools for management and people development<\/li>\n<li>Great promotional opportunities \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eaton is a power management company with 2015 sales of $20.9 billion.
