{"id":27180,"date":"2016-05-24T14:13:54","date_gmt":"2016-05-24T13:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=27180"},"modified":"2016-05-24T14:13:54","modified_gmt":"2016-05-24T13:13:54","slug":"operations-manager-jobs-in-a-security-agency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/operations-manager-jobs-in-a-security-agency.html","title":{"rendered":"Operations Manager Jobs in a Security Agency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Client, a Leading Indigenous Security Agency that services the Oil and Gas, Telecommunication Industry and others as needed per time is looking for Experienced Security Personnel for the position of an Operations Manager in different locations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE:\u00a0 <\/strong>Operations Manager(Security)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>JOB PURPOSE<\/strong>:<br \/>\nEnsuring all aspects of daily operations are carried out effectively and efficiently with multi-location oversight of personnel and client sites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervision of guards in all existing location\/s in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the recruitment and selections of new guards for various beats.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Preparations of weekly reports on activities and status reports on beats, patrol etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure excellent customer service by all security operatives towards all clients.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain networks with existing and potential clients.<\/li>\n<li>Assist management in deal negotiations, contract development etc. as required.<\/li>\n<li>Development strategies to improve business performance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence of company\u2019s code of conduct and guard orders by security operatives.<\/li>\n<li>Regular update of security operative\u2019s data.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate deployment and redeployment of guards according to personnel requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all new applicants meet the requirements of the company i.e. height, age, documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Train subordinate security operatives or other organization members in security rules and procedures.<strong>EDUCATION:<\/strong> \u00a0A bachelor\u2019s degree \/ HND in any Discipline is a Must<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKNOWLEGDE &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Security Protocols<\/li>\n<li>Fire &amp; Health and Safety<\/li>\n<li>Crime Prevention and Security Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the Military \/Navy or Mobile Police Force is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>10 &#8211; 15 years minimum experience in a similar function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PERSONAL QUALITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills both written and oral<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Customer relations<\/li>\n<li>Business development skills<\/li>\n<li>Must have a keen eye for detail and be trustworthy.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage others effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Must have no criminal record.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to discipline\/address any violation of company policy in a respectful and professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving\/analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Client, a Leading Indigenous Security Agency that services the Oil and Gas, Telecommunication Industry and others as needed per time is looking for Experienced Security Personnel for the position&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10155,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[65],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
