The role needs good pedagogical skills to convince people to change their methods.<\/p>\n<p>The main targets are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 10px; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; text-indent: -10px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">To achieve the highest possible level of health, safety and environmental standards.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">To work with Company\u2019s staff to ensure that the health and safety of staff, visitors and customers is guaranteed constantly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is based in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 10px; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; text-indent: -10px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Take lead in resolving technical problems related to HSE<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Ensure that adequate levels of Quality Management resources are available at all times on all Projects.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Establish HSE Procedures and implement them through training and audit programs for the employees.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Communicate with Clients and Regulatory Authorities on matters related to HSE requirements and also guide the project teams on such matters<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Handle matters related to compliance with HSE requirements and regulations of various Regulatory Authorities<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Consult with senior managers and other line managers and give appropriate advice on formulating best-practice policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Ensure that Local Policy Statements\/Fire Plans and Fire Risk Assessments are produced and quality assured.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Ensure all accidents and incidents are recorded, reported and investigated as required and that corrective action is implemented accordingly<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top: 7px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 8px; margin-left: 10px;\">Devise, develop and monitor effective Risk Assessment management strategies and make recommendations on the implementation of these strategies.
