Description<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The successful candidate is required to :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage existing business<\/li>\n<li>Identify and appoint distributors ( new business development) in the markets currently not present in<\/li>\n<li>Agree export prices \/ payment modalities \/trading terms with new customers in line with company policy.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate with Sales Ops, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of shipments and required documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Work with existing clients to develop their sales capability by regular visits to their markets, devising\/implementation of distribution plans, planning below-the-line marketing activities etc.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage customer relationship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specific<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regular visits to clients markets<\/li>\n<li>Plan \/ Prepare activities to help clients with their distribution efforts<\/li>\n<li>Prospection for new business<\/li>\n<li>Supervise shipment activity as and when arises<\/li>\n<li>Arrange for promo material for BTL activities<\/li>\n<li>Manage all relevant record keeping and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure container clearing cost is within the norms laid down by the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for planning, managing, tracking and controlling shipments\/ consignments physically and relevant documentation<\/li>\n<li>Handling containerized shipments and bulk shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with the port customs for various aspects of clearance of the outbound Shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Selection and management of external clearing agents for clearing Shipments.<\/li>\n<li>Well contact with the shipping lines for the destination ground support.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison, interaction and coordination with Carriers, Commercial Department, Terminal Operation Department, Terminal Operators and clearing agents for operational aspects.<\/li>\n<li>Improving business practices and reducing operating costs of the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Looking after Export Dry\/Reefer Shipments for various destinations around the globe.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation of the Freight Rates with the Carriers for Sea Exports.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation of the Air Freight Rates with the Freight Forwarders\/Airlines for Air Exports.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous follow ups &amp; monitoring of Sea and Air Shipments upto its delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up for Shipping Company \/ Terminal refunds and maintaining records of outstanding refunds.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping updates on the delivery projection of the inbound shipments and to inform concerned departments on a weekly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Other miscellaneous logistics job as and when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\u00a0<\/strong><strong>&amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in related field<\/li>\n<li>MBA from a premier institute<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of transport modalities ( road\/sea) and terrain knowledge in West Africa<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of inventory management , planning and organizing skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer expertise especially in MS Excel , Word &amp; PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Good oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li><strong>French language skills are mandatory and should be of a high proficiency level<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-6 years working experience in a similar role in West \/Central Africa<\/li>\n<li>12+ year\u2019s relevant experience in any big Food\/FMCG\/manufacturing Industry.<\/li>\n<li>Good experience of working in an ERP environment like SAP, Mfg-Pro, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
