We run mission-critical ICT systems and manage products, services and solutions for JSE listed and key public sector organisations, parastatals and small medium-sized enterprises across the world.<\/p>\n<p>With just Over 6800 employees across Africa, the United Kingdom and Dubai, we combine insight, experience, global vendor partnerships, and extensive technological resources with the commitment to deliver.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Customer Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ref No.: 70000376 &#8211; INT.9<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Lagos, NG<br \/>\nPosition Category\/Job Type: Fixed Term Contract<br \/>\nJob Category: Engineering<br \/>\nSlot: 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nPurpose:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide more routine hardware service, or \u2018remote\u2019 diagnostic activities under supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><br \/>\nOperations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the relevant client&#8217;s Service Level Agreement (SLA)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to follow correct call logging and escalation procedures<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of changes in client&#8217;s strategic objectives and ICT requirements<\/li>\n<li>Analyse client needs and advise on certain solutions in conjunction with the relevant BCX competencies<\/li>\n<li>Customer<\/li>\n<li>To adhere to relevant on-site customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Strive for client satisfaction and compliments<\/li>\n<li>Key Relationships \/ Stakeholder relationships<\/li>\n<li>Service Delivery Manager, BCX Competency Centres, BCX Delivery Team, Client Employee\/Users, Team Leader, Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to keep current with the relevant technology requirements, including training<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to use appropriate operating systems, hardware, tools and\/or paper documentation to maintain the configuration management system, including the configuration management database (CMDB)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed NDiploma in Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Minimum Certifications\/Accreditations<\/li>\n<li>Certification: A+, N+, MCSE, MCITP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical: Competent contributor that can work without supervision in the Technical Support area, with a minimum experience of between 2 and 4 years.<\/li>\n<li>Operational: Experience within one main sector (AMS). Managed small projects.
