With 50,000+ employees and $46B+ in global sales in 160 countries, Lenovo is a global leader in innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Smartphones Sales Lead <\/strong><b><br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Key Objectives Of Position<u><br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Responsible for achieving the Region\u2019s Unit &amp; Financial goals by effectively managing the Smartphone and Tablet product portfolio across Africa region in collaboration with Africa GM responsible for the P&amp;L for related Smartphone and tablet products. The incumbent would build, implement, and execute relevant programs with high return on investment for the Region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This Involves Successfully Integrating &amp; Executing To Programs Not Limited To But Including The Following<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Channel management and managing the distribution landscape across the \u2018Africa\u2019 territory<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships and influence key stakeholders in both direct and indirect Large Format Retail partners<\/li>\n<li>Drive sell thru and sell out through the effective execution of various schemes and promotions and assessment of ROI of these programs<\/li>\n<li>Manage the field promoter program and Point of Sale with retailers<\/li>\n<li>Providing relevant input to the annual &amp; quarterly planning cycles by LOB key financials (Units, AUR, AUM, Rev, Margin)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Position Requirements<br \/>\nSuccess Factors<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Keen focus on customer needs<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strong collaboration with Africa General Manager and other internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to build effective \u201cvirtual\u201d teams and drive results through others in a complex cross-functional organization required.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strong negotiation and influencing skills required, as well as an ability to interact effectively with high level decision makers \/ executives.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Adapt at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Superior verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Entrepreneurial self-starter; excels at unsupervised execution.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Deep knowledge and insights about the Smartphone category<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Acute business Sense and Keen Analytical Mind<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Experience &amp; Key Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over 15 years of experience in product management \/ portfolio planning \/ sales roles out of which at least 5 years should be in the feature phone \/ smart phone category<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate across any discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lenovo is the #1 PC manufacturer in the world.
