AUN has a strong commitment to providing the skills and the leadership essential to solving the continent&#8217;s critical social and economic problems.<\/p>\n<p>The University offers an American \u2013 style education\u00a0modelled after the curriculum of American universities with corresponding approaches to teaching and students assessment. The first entering class of 124 students and 20 professors was enrolled in September 2005. In ten years, AUN is fast becoming a model for other universities in Nigeria and West Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The American University of Nigeria, Hotel Division is seeking the following staff into local positions and opens to indigenous and\/or legal residents of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Waiter\/ Waitress AUN Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SUMMARY OF POSITION:<\/b><br \/>\nThis position is concerned with anticipating needs of guests in the Restaurant \/ Club \/ Lounge \/ Room Service and Bar, taking orders, serving and removing crockery and beverages in accordance with guests\u2019 requirements and service policy.<br \/>\nThe responsibility is to provide the high standard service to all of coming guests to make them 100% satisfied, correct the set up and collect the all money from guest also, and maintain the cleanness of the Restaurant \/ Club \/ Bar \/ Coffee Shop \/ Room Service.<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Position Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Restaurant operation; Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations 2 years\u2019 work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of Diploma Certificate; related working experience in food and beverage, or related professional area<\/li>\n<li>Must be an extrovert<\/li>\n<li>Must be in good health<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skill in English verbal, listening and writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other requirements, abilities for the position:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong customer and associate relation skills; Must be willing to work hard and learn new areas<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use standard software applications and hotel system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Bartender\/Barman &#8211; AUN Hotel <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SUMMARY OF POSITION:<\/b><br \/>\nConcerned with the service of drinks and associated products directly to the guest, as per F&amp;B Policy. In addition, complying with the F&amp;B Control and ordering procedures as set by the policies of the Hotel.<br \/>\nProvide drink service to guests and also well control the beverage consumption and requisition process.<br \/>\n<b>Position Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of beverages; Basic English communication skills; Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed high school and graduated from a tourism school or similar establishment.<\/li>\n<li>Extravert.<\/li>\n<li>Good Health<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skill in English verbal, listening and writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Other requirements, abilities for the position:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong customer and associate skills; must be willing to work hard and learn new area<\/li>\n<li>Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Laundry Supervisor &#8211; AUN Hotel <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>SUMMARY OF POSITION:<\/b><br \/>\nAs a Laundry Supervisor you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, in line with Aun Hotel standard operational procedures.<br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Position Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be customer driven and a courteous individual with an outgoing and approachable character.
