Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.<\/p>\n<p>Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting to fill the following positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sourcing Specialist <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Purpose\/ Key Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Source, pre-qualify, select and recommend credible Suppliers for\u00a0company\u2019s operations.<\/li>\n<li>Source for rig and other equipment and services that will be needed\u00a0for offshore operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely preparation of Invitation to Tenders for the offshore\u00a0project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implements sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost of the products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Documents performance to action plans and timelines for assigned\u00a0sourcing projects.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts Request for Information\/Quotation\/Proposal (RFI\/Q\/P) and bidding processes, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates current and prospective suppliers through supplier reviews,\u00a0site visits and audits, in coordination with SHES and Technical departments, to assure supply capabilities, on-time delivery, quality and service.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers in order to meet specified\u00a0quality, delivery and cost objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Executes contract negotiation and development in coordination with\u00a0Supply Chain Manager and Contract team.<\/li>\n<li>Selects a high-performance supply base.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates with and maintains the highest degree of\u00a0relations between the Company and all levels of supplier personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Builds strong relationships with internal customers in order to meet\u00a0defined objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Follows existing processes and systems in view of efficient operations and continuously recommends improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Complies with all Lekoil local procedures applicable to the job function including SHES.<\/li>\n<li>Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above.<\/li>\n<li>Lead initiatives and realize savings without compromising quality and time.<\/li>\n<li>Perform all other duties that are necessary and reasonably attached to this Sourcing Specialist position and the fulfillment of its responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Any other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, Supply Chain Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wpjb-job-text\">\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\u00a0degree\u00a0in\u00a0any\u00a0Engineering\u00a0discipline (Compulsory)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 10 \u2013 15 years of work experience in Procurement and Sourcing functions in offshore exploration and production operations.<\/li>\n<li>5 \u2013 10 years field experience in exploration and production.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a managerial or leadership role is mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be Analytical and structured.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough\u00a0experience\u00a0in\u00a0Tendering and contracting\u00a0for\u00a0offshore exploration and production operations.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and the ability to assimilate, appraise and extract information quickly when faced with numerous ad hoc queries.<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiating skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Collaborative and interpersonal skill.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership attributes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quick thinking and ability to remain calm under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Articulate and close attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Intense drive for excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<br \/>\n<b>Application Deadline:<\/b>\u00a0 11\/06\/2016<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited (formerly Moody International Nigeria Limited) was established in 1996 as a partnership between Moody International Group and Nigerian investors.
