{"id":28026,"date":"2016-06-10T13:04:59","date_gmt":"2016-06-10T12:04:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=28026"},"modified":"2016-11-10T11:31:18","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T10:31:18","slug":"telecoms-company-job-in-nigeria-for-an-experienced-accountant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/telecoms-company-job-in-nigeria-for-an-experienced-accountant.html","title":{"rendered":"Telecoms Company Job in Nigeria for an Experienced Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by one of its clients in the telecoms service industry to recruit candidates with expertise in web service to manage and improve efficiency for its operations in Nigeria, in the capacity below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong>Chief Accountant<br \/>\nJob Reference: 1026<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Nigeria<br \/>\nIndustry: Management Consulting Services<br \/>\nFunction: Financial<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor the bank movements and their reconciliation with bank statements<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly Management Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Yearly Final Accounts and Liaise with External Auditors<\/li>\n<li>Monitor changes in legislation and publications regarding accountancy and financial matters<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of standardized accounting procedures in the Company<\/li>\n<li>Consolidation of budgets vs actuals and financial planning<\/li>\n<li>Look after the Companies interests regarding Nigerian authorities and external auditors and Control the treasury<\/li>\n<li>Provide sound business and financial advice to company management<\/li>\n<li>Perform project cost forecasts\/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls<\/li>\n<li>Perform cashflow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project team in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and filing of Tax forms, excellent grasp of Tax matters and FIRS process<\/li>\n<li>Treasury management- cash planning and invoice processing<\/li>\n<li>Receivables: maintains individual ledgers, allocates payments to invoices, send dunning letters, maintains WHT recoverable ledger and follow-up with customers<\/li>\n<li>Taxes: prepares monthly VAT returns, WHT remittance<\/li>\n<li>Payroll: monthly payments, follow up of loans \/ advances \/ leave allowances \/ pension funds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Accountant-ACA\/ACCA\/FCA with Bachelor&#8217;s degree from a reputable tertiary institution<\/li>\n<li>Excellent management and communication skill<\/li>\n<li>Strong business leader, coach, and team player<\/li>\n<li>Excellent people skill<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SAGE or any accounting software is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years\u2019 experience including expertise in IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in financial management is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in tax filling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidate should apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by one of its clients in the telecoms service industry to recruit candidates with expertise in web service to manage and improve efficiency for its&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10155,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[193],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
