As a fully integrated firm,<br \/>\nwe connect knowledge and experience across our global network of experts to help clients solve their most complex challenges.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:\u00a0<\/b>Chief of Party (COP)<br \/>\n<strong>AECOM<\/strong> is currently seeking a Chief of Party (COP) for an anticipated USAID-funded water and sanitation activity in Nigeria that will strengthen the financial and productive ability of water providers in select Nigerian states to operate more sustainability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for overall program management and implementation ensuring application of international best practices consistent with client expectations and abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ensures program results and outcomes including client satisfaction, timely deliverable submission, assignment completion, and quality assurance and control<\/li>\n<li>Supervises all field-based program technical staff, consultants, locally-hired support staff, and partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualification<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct experience in the water and sanitation sector in an African context preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing USAID-funded projects preferred<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience working in Nigeria preferred<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in a second language<\/li>\n<li>Advanced degree in fields related to water resources management, water sanitation and supply management, or other relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible work experience on USAID funded projects; with significant management or oversight roles<\/li>\n<li>Prior Chief of party or equivalent experience on projects of similar scope and size<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of, and experience working in, the water and sanitation sector, and activities focused on water and sanitation sector strengthening and improvement<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing complex programs in Africa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0apply below<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AECOM is built to deliver a better world.
