{"id":28287,"date":"2016-06-17T11:37:11","date_gmt":"2016-06-17T10:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=28287"},"modified":"2016-06-17T11:37:11","modified_gmt":"2016-06-17T10:37:11","slug":"software-developer-position-at-byteworks-technology-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/software-developer-position-at-byteworks-technology-solutions.html","title":{"rendered":"Software Developer Position at ByteWorks Technology Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ByteWorks Technology Solutions, a Software Development Company Registered with Corporate HQ at Abuja, Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the positions below.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:<\/b>\u00a0 Software Developer<br \/>\n<b>Job Type<\/b> Full Time<br \/>\n<b>Qualification<\/b> BA\/BSc\/HND<br \/>\n<b>Location<\/b> Abuja<br \/>\n<b>Job Field<\/b> ICT \/ Computer<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design, develop, install and maintain software solutions, across web, mobile and desktop platforms.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyzes user requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.<\/li>\n<li>Continually updates technical knowledge and skills by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Protects operations by keeping information confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals;<\/li>\n<li>Investigates new technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Tests new programs for fault finding.<\/li>\n<li>Writes and tests code and then refines and rewrites as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Creates technical specifications and test plans.<\/li>\n<li>Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Improves existing software programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications and Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in Java<\/li>\n<li>Understands software development lifecycle and the tools and processes needed to develop and maintain software<\/li>\n<li>First class or Second class upper degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>OCPJP and ITIL v3 certifications will be added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested?
